Show Through singleness of purpose and tireless energy, ne ' 13s demonstrated his whole~souled and unselfish devotion tn the school, and thus has won the admiration and esteem, as by efficiency of service he has earned the undying grati- d tude, of the Regents of the University and of the entire ' people of Utah. By unimpeachable integrity, purity of character, unfailing courtesy and justice, unassumed modesty, and, withal, by that unfeigned love of his fellowmen which has shown forth in his daily walk and conversation, he. has commanded the profound and enduring esteem of all who have had the privilege of knowing him. sasgirse That a copy of these sentiments, properly engrossed and signed by the Chairman and all the members of the Board of Regents, be presented to Dr. Kingsbury as a ' C testimonial of the appreciation in Which we hold his services and his character and as a manifestation of the esteem and affection which we entertain for him. Done in open Board Meeting the 6th day of June, 1916. ****«*********»*§ It was understood that the resolution would be read by Chairman Riter or Regent Young at the Commencement Exercises on June 7th. LL. D. for I Regent Young reported that it had been suggested to Dr. Kingsbury him that the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws be conferred upon Dr. Kingsbury.
