Show see the registration and the progress of the students in the school; he shall be the medium of communication for all official business of the school with other University authorities, the students and the public; he shall be held responsible for the initiation and efficient execution of all University policies in so far as they pertain to the school in question. Matters relating to entrance requirements, the course of study, graduation requirements or educational policy, after having been passed on by the school faculty, must be referred to the University Faculty for approval. Any action involving the extra expenditure of money must be referred to the Presidentand the Board of Regents. The Duties of the President of the University. Section 4. The President shall be the chief executive officer of the University; he shall exercise such supervision as will promote the efficiency of every department; he shall have have the authority to issue and sign diplomas conferring degrees, but this shall be done upon the recommendation of the Faculty with the approval of the Board of Regents. The President shall keep in close touch with the University Faculty, Councils and Departments, and Students. Vice-President. Section 5. A Vice-President may be appomted by the President from among the members of the faculty, who shall serve during the pleasure of the President and during the absence or incapacity of the President shall perform the duties of the President.
