Show Professional The following motion made by Regent Porter and secondedmfl Subjects by Regent Armstrong, was adopted: "That the Chairman appoint a committee of three to ascertain to what extent courses are being given at the University, which might be termed professional courses, ,the chief purpose of which is to fit one for such a profession as Medicine, Engineering, or Law, and at what cost to the State; this committee to report back to the Board at the next meeting, with or without recommendations." Chairman Riter appointed Regents Porter, Armstrong, and Middleton as members of this committee. Forsberg, to whom had been referred, at a previous meeting. the matter of determining the best bid for furnishing the University with screened slack coal for heating purposes during the present school year.
