'13-‘13: ' "I iging the fact that the bid of the Standord Fuel L'": m "+h£OMpany of$3.15 per ton, was the lowest bid except one, that of the Fischer-Kittle Coal Company for furnishing bear Coal which was rejected on account of their failure to submit information concerning this coal and from the further fact that our Engineer, Professor Beckstrand, reported that it con- tained a larger amount of slate than some of the other coals,- tthe following motion of Regent Williams, seconded by hegent Armstrong, was adopted: I ‘.._.5$-s_ iii: 4 .: That the bid for furnishing coal be awarded to the Sta.ndard Fuel Company on their bid of $3.15 per . ton, provided they will make an agreement to furnish . other coal of standard quality in case they-cannot supply their own, and give a bond as part of the contract; and that their coal meets with the res quirement as to moisture, ash and thermal units as indicated by our engineer, Professor Beckstrand. 1- (The quality recommended by Prof. Backstrand is as follows: moisture shall be under 4(5w, ash shall ' be under 5.0%, B. T.
