Show April 8, 1915. An adjourned meeting of the Board of Regents was. held in the Director's room of the Deseret National Bank at 9:30 a. m., Thursday, April 8, 1915. Those present were, Chairman Riter and Regents Middleton, Rolapp, Bamberger, Armstrong, Williams, Porter, Kingsbury, Mattson, Van Cott, Young'and Lund. Gemmell, Absent, Regent Whitmore. The consideration of the resolution introduced by Regent Rolapp tendering the use of the University buildings, and other assistance, to the Alumni Committee was continued. After considerable discussion Regent Rolapp was granted permission to withdraw his resolution until the Board receive$ official notification of the appointment of the committee named by the Alumni Association, and also some information as to the desires of this committee. Doctpr Lovejoy Regent Young stated that Dr. A. O. Lovejoy, Secretary of the American Association of University Professors, was at the Hotel Utah and desired permission to meet with the Regents and to submit a few questions for their consideration. The Regents expressed it as their pleasure to meet Dr. Love-‘ joy but suggested that he submit in writing such questions as he wished to ask, giving the Board the privilege of answering them also in writing. In a few minutes Dr. Love- joy was with the Regents and expressed his pleasure at meet- ing with them. He stated that his visit to Salt Lake City was in line with his duties as Secretary of the American Association of University Professors.
