If all, or any, of questions 7, 8, and 9 be answered negatively, is not the following a correct state- ment of facts? (a) The Board of Regents was officially informed by the President of the reasons which led him to recommend that Messrs. Knowlton and Wise be not retained. (b) Ofrthe four reasons given in the two cases, one or more was regarded by the Board as an improper reason. (0) The Board none the less, by adopting the recommendation, which he based upon these reasons, him to terminate a professor's connection with the wholly or partly upon grounds which the Board does as proper grounds for such action. (a) The Specific charges made against Professor have Knowlton are unworthy of notice, and from the facts that has been come to our knowledge we believe that Dr. Knowlton loyal to Dr. Kingsbury and the University Of Utah(b) The Board has not taken evidence. |
