Show .1// |_ JH ‘ V x April 16,1914, A Special meeting of the Board of Regents Was held in the Directors' room of the Deseret Tational Bank at one o'clock, p.m., April 16,1914. There were present Chairman Riter, and Regents Whitmore, Kingsbury, Middleton, Bamberger, and Young. The following report of the Committee on Student Activities was, on motion of Regent Middleton,ad0pted: April 14,1914 W.W.Riter,Esq.,Chairman, Board of Regents, U.of U. Dear Sir: At a meeting of the Committee of the Board of Regents on Student Activities, a communication from Jos. F. Merrill,Chairman of the Athletic Council, was duly received and considered. Report of Student Ac- tivities 00mmittee On motion of Judge Rolapp, duly second- ed and unanimOusly carried, the Committee recom- mends that the Board of Regents loan to the Athletic Council an amount not exceeding $2200.00, out of the entrance fee fund now on hand with,the University, for the purpose of (1) covering about one-third of the stand on on loan .for outdoor theater the west side of the athletic field, and (2) dismanteling the stand on the east side and putting in a new one that will accommodate at least two thousand people.
