Evans The appointment of Isaac Blair Evans as Lecturer in Agency,‘l having received the approval of the President, the Nomina- tions Committee, and the Law School Committee, was approved. Young Archaeology The recommendation of the President that Professor Levi Edgar Young be placed in temporary charge of the Department of Archaeology and Archaeological Expeditions, was approved by the committee on the School of Arts and Sciences and, on motion of Regent Whitmore, was approved by the Board. 'Baron The appointment of Joseph V. Baron, to take charge of the Art Department during the absence of Professor Evans, was recommended by the President and the majority of the Nominations Committee and the Committee of the School of Arts and Sciences. Mr. Baron's salary is to be $1,000.00 (f9€,tp§,X§ér' andhis appointmentwas approved by the Board.,5 Faculty Relations Committee The report of the Faculty Relations Committee of its meetings with faculty members, was on motion, received but further consideration of it was deferred until the'chairman Alpha Pi Note of the committee, Regent Van Cott, can be present. The Secretary called the attention of the Regents to the fact that no interest had been paid since October 29th, 1915.1; on the loan of $1,000.00 to the Alpha Pi Fraternity with Mr. 0" A. H.
