On motion of Regent Middleton, bids were referred to the Secretary and the architeCt to tabulate and report to the Building Committee at twelve o‘clock noon, Saturday, February 6th, 1915. On motion, it was decided that when the Board adjourn it would be to meet Monday, February 8th, 1915, at one o‘clock at the Deseret National Bank, to consider the report of the Building Committee on the bids. An adjourned meeting of the Board of Regents was held in ‘the Directors' room of the Deseret National Bank at one 'o'clock p.m., Monday, February 8th, 1915, at which were present Chairman Riter, and Regents Armstrong, Kingsbury, Williams, Gemmel, Lund, and Mattson. The Building Committee, to whom had been referred the bids for construction of the Normal Industrial Building, recommended that the following, as representing the lowest responsible bids, be adopted bffgoard: Rudine & Chytrous, on the building, to include maple floors and concrete tunnel, $39,905.00 Davidson & Harris, plumbing and heating, to include 5" high pressure pipe instead of 2",and the Salt Lake Electric Supply Co., for 6,840.50 electric wiring and fixtures,- g4282,gg making a total for the building complete of,- ‘EZs,027.50 |
