The principal works of the project shall con- 5 sist of the Bridge Canyon Dam, Reservoir, and Powerplant; 6 Maxwell Dam, Reservoir, and power-pumping plant; Buttes 7 Dam and Reservoir; Hooker Dam and Reservoir; Charles- 8 ton Dam and Reservoir; Granite Reef Aqueduct and pumping 9 plants; Tucson Aqueducts and pumping plants; Salt-Gila 10 Aqueduct; canals; electrical transmission facilities, and 11 related water distribution and drainage works. 12 Sue. 2. (a) Contracts to repay the portion of the cost 13 of the Central Arizona project allocated to irrigation and 14 assigned to be repaid by irrigation water users which are 15 entered into pursuant to subsection (d), section D, of the 16 Reclamation Project Act of l<)3<) (53 Stat. 1187) as 17 amended, shall provide for a basic repayment period of not 18 more than fifty years after initiation of water service to 19 any block of land plus a development period, if any, not to 20 exceed ten years as determined by the Secretary. 21 (b) Rates charged for commercial power and for water 22 for municipal, domestic, or industrial use shall be designed 23 to return to the United States, within not more than fifty 24 years from the completion of each unit of the project which 25 serves those purposes, those costs of constructing, operating, |
