Q That is what I say, the spring high waters are reguiar, seasonal fluctuations, aren't they? A It would generally come along about June -- last of May, first of June. Q Whereas the fall high waters would depend on the amount of rain? A Yes. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Have you ever at any time operated a boat on the San Juan river? A No sir. Q Have you ever known of any boats being used on the San Juan river? A I have known of boats crossing the river: I never knew of any going up and down it. Q Did you ever do any freighting? A Yes sir, that used to be my business. Q Did you ever freight to these placer prospectors down there in the country? A Yes sir. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q What years?
