Show Spencer- D 694 BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q No 11? A That is right out from what we call the second goose- neck, only on top of the mesa, showing the rocks and formation and country. Q Is that typical of the country? A Yes sir. Q No. 12? A That is what they call the Monumental valley; that is typical of that country. Q Where is Monumental valley? A It is what is called Moonlight; it lies a little south and west of Goodrich. Q It is in the neighborhood of Moonlight creek? A Yes; Moonlight creek comes in right below this mountain here ( indicating); it is just a little creek. Q Is that typical of that country? A Yes sir. Q No. 13? A That is one of the high waters at Goodrich -- just above Goodrich, taken just above the bridge -- no, just above the mouth of Gypsum, around up towards the Hat. Q Just above the mouth of Gypsum? A Yes; you can see Gypsum coming right in here ( indicating); then the bridge sets down here ( indicating) further. Q Can't you tell then picture was taken, what month? A No, I couldn't tell you what month that was; very likely in June, 2662 |
