THE WITNESS: That section of the Glen canyon has canyon walls, but they are set back some little distance from the river, that is, possibly it is a thousand feet wide; we found bottoms usually either on the on side or the other of the river through there, bottoms four hundred feet wide, with quite a growth of willows and vegetation, dense vegetation, not big trees. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Small willows? A Small willows, that is, twenty feet high, Q Cottonwoods? A Very few cottonwoods. There were cottonwoods in the upper section, more. Q How far does Glen canyon extend -- what is considered the southern terminus of Glen canyon? A It ends at Lee's Ferry. Q It ends at Lee's Ferry? A Yes sir.
