Committment of the local League leadership to assist the national League Education Fund with f unctaising for the Presidential debates in their local/regional area (In 1984, $250,000 was required at each site). 4. Adequate facilities for holding the debates --- a theater with a minimum of 1000 seats, excellent accoustics, state of the art sound and lighting, space for at least 7 TV cameras, adequate power for live broadcast needs, cressing room facilities, adjacent space for 1000 working press, and several rooms for use as debate offices. 5.
