That was a funny one. I guess you really can't go between rounds. You've only got a minute. Yeah, you can't do nothing. You were talking about Jewish fighters, we had a kid in Denver, Earl King, another Jewish boy, then there was ••• you know, you're not giving me enough time to think ••• ! can give you names of dozens of them around Denver, some of them some damn good kids. You said vou were pretty good, describe your style, how you fought. What made you pretty good? Well, I can't go into that especially. All I can tell you is I had a pretty good jab, that was one thing, and later in my career I had a pretty good left hook. But, you know, what made me pretty good in my own eyes? I hit the other guy more than he hit me. That made me pretty good. r~ I remember once you talked to)about boxing a little bit, and you said the key was to see how long it took before a guy got punched out, before you fought too much, before you couldn't take it any more. ~~ Oh, I don't remember tat•e exact words, but I know what I was referring to.
