Yeah, by the university. Were you on their boxing team? No, I was a freshman. I was aspiring to their boxing team. Was that an expensive school to go to in those days, or was that relatively inexpensive? Did you have to pay to go? Oh, yeah, we had to pay to go, and I didn't make good enough grad I was smart enough, I know that, but I didn't make good enough grades to get into Columbia. In high school? Yeah, I loused up too much in high school. I passed everything •• I took a lot more hours because I had alot of smart, studious cousins, and you know, whether you like it or not, I think ••• at least in my family you were always competing with somebody else, and I would never compete. The only thing is I would take the same amount of hours that the smart ones did, you know, and the studious ones did, and about half the time they were even doing my homework, or I'd copy theirs, you know, we had to turn 1n assignments, and I'd copy theirs, they'd let me copy - I didn't steal it. or course, even as kids, we cousins were quite devoted to each other. You just can't believe it, I mean, you just canno believe 1t. And what we had as a family was a wonder~ul, wonder ful, wonderful fa~ily. So, so~e of them made Columbia, and of course, there were always family sacrifices to send a kid to |
