Show 7258 Anderson- D 5238 went on to Moab. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Have you seen Mr. Blake take excursion parties with his boat on the Green river? A I have seen him around on Green river; I seem him with an excursion party at Moab. Q How large a party have you seen on Mr. Blake's boat on any of those excursions? A There was around twenty- five or thirty once. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Must have been pretty crowded. A There was nothing but heads sticking out. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Just a short trip? A Just a short trip up the river from where the bridge was then to Moab. Q About how far did you go? A About two miles, whet they called goose island. These wasn't all full- grown people. Q There were a lot of children on the boat? A Yes, small, twelve or fifteen. Q In the latter part of October, 1909, do you recall making a trip from Greenriver to Moab and return in the Paddy Ross with the Hughes party? A That was in November, wasn't it -- yes.
