Q Did you ever come up when there was high water? A yes sir, not right at the highest, but when it was way up high. Q Did you ever go up the Green in that kind of canoe? A No, I never have. Q You only went up the Green river once, did you? A I was up the Green river twice. Q How does the current in the Green, going up the Green, compare with the current going up the Colorado? A It may be a little quicker, but not much different; the Green river is narrower than the Grand. Q You get more current in those places? A Yes; of course, I figure on poling the boat, keeping in the eddies all I can. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I didn't mean to interrupt your cross examination.
