Q For the use of that company? A For the use of that company. Q What sort of a body of copper are was it that that company was working? A What the miners usually call a blanket deposit; it lay in porphyry, lime and sandstone. The miner would call it low grade; had some rich spots in it. Q To what extent has that property been developed, or had it been developed when you last saw it? A The last time I saw it I think was when I did my last work there, but I do know of it having been worked since to some extent. Q Was it a surface operation, or did you extract the ore through a shaft or tunnel? A Nearly all surface work. Q Has the property ever been developed so that the depth and length and breadth of the deposit has been determined? A No. Q How far down are the lowest workings on the property? A Probably fifteen feet. |
