A On the river five miles and a half east of Cisco, in Grand county. Q Did you ever have occasion to go down to Moab when you lived there at your ranch at Cisco? A Yes sir, I went down once or twice a year during the four years I was there. Q In going down where did the road lead with respect to this point above Castle creek where the rafting began? A The road follows the river from -- at that time there was a road, and is yet, follows the river from that point to Moab, that passed probably within three hundred feet of the landing, I believe, where we put the lumber in the river from the road. Q Did Mr. Branson have a house there? A Yes sir, he had a house and corral there. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Where? BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q On the river where the rafting began? A Yes sir.
