A Why, my purpose in going there was to launch a boat on the Green river and investigate the possibilities of freight traffic between there and Moab on the Grand. Q Did you build any boat? A I did. Q In what year? A In the spring of 1909 I built first boat. Q What was the size of that boat? A That boat was twenty- four feet long by six foot beam, flat bottom boat. |
