Q What caused you to go into that country, Mr. Wolverton? what was the occasion for your going there? A My health failed me; I had rheumatism; I came from the mountains in Colorado, the high altitude, came down there to get in a warm climate. Q And in what did you interest yourself after you arrived in Greenriver? A Manganese. Q Did you discover any manganese deposits in that section of the country? A I did. Q Where with respect to the Green river? A About twenty miles below Greenriver and on the east side, commencing about three miles east of the river |
