A Not over half of them. Q Was there any particular place in the river or any particular places in the river where you generally met with difficulties when they did come? A Yes. Q Just tell the court at what point or points on the river you met your greatest number of difficulties. A A point between Mill creek wash and Kane spring wash. Q Was there any other place besides that point and that immediate vicinity where you ever got hung up on sandbars? A Yes sir, there is one other place. Q What is the other place? A It is what we call the canyon wash, just about a mile and a half below the upper dock. Q How many times during the seven months did you get hung up at that place for any length of time, that last- mentioned place? A I don't remember of but two times, as near as I can remember. Q Now, when would you meet that trouble at this point that you indicated as your most difficult place? A As near as I can remember, each time we had trouble |
