A It was between the 1st and middle of December, 1908, we went down with two row boats, four in the party. Q From the town of Greenriver, Utah? A Yes sir, that is the first of the boating; we first went in by pack from Torrey, that is, going into the oil field first. Q You had been overland into the oil field before, had you? A Yes sir. Q Then was it the next trip in there that you came to Greenriver and went down the Green river in a boat? A Yes sir. Q To what point of the Green river did that boat trip extend? A Well, we took the two boats, loaded about nine hundred pounds each, went to the mouth of Miller's canyon. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Which canyon?
