A Really, I don't hardly know just what distance that would be, but those rapids are not very long; I would think possibly three or four hundred feet altogether. Q In making that journey, confining your attention now to the portion of the river between Castle creek and Nigger Bill canyon, I wish you would state what if any difficulties in navigation you encountered other than you have already explained. A No, we didn't have any trouble with our raft; we discovered after we had launched our raft at the mouth of Cisco wash in passing the first rapids we discovered there was always a current of water in the center where the main river was running down through it was always able to carry our raft; we simply paid attention to that when we would come to the rapid and run through this current, and we never experienced any trouble in going down with the raft.
