Show 4989 Dugan- RD 3002 you find? A On these reefs which would run across the river at low water, we got eight or ten inches to a foot, those reefs at the time they were giving us trouble -- a number of times that would be the maximum. Q Can you give me an estimate of the number of different places on the river where you encountered such depths as that? A There was two or three points on the river between the dock as far down as Kane creek that during this latter period I speak of, 1927 and 1928, that used to give us quite regular trouble. At times the channel would cut through. Other times it would be very shallow. MR. BLACKMAR: That is all, Mr. Dugan. FURTHER EXAMINATION BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q At the times you speak of, was the Moab Garage running, being operated? A Not regularly. Q Was it being operated? A Yes. Q Did it come down through these places? A Yes. |
