Q I don't want to get into the realm of construction, but you didn't have any skag on the out- board motor? A No. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Which of the boats was in- board, and which out- board? A The black boat is the in- board motor. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q That is the boat you used at first, is it? A That is the boat; that was just used for emergency purposes up and down the river. Q The out- board motor was the motor you did practically all of your work with? A Yes. Q How many trips all told did you make on the large barge of the Moab Garage Company during your entire experience on the river? A Well, I would say probably not over three complete trips, but fractional trips between a camp and the oil wells, a few miles each trip. Q How many fractional trips, would you say? A Half a dozen or less. |
