Show 4985 Dugan- C 2998 A No, I would have to send down to get my car. Q So you would have had to have sent to Moab for your car after you arrived at the dock, would you? A No, I drove my car to the dock, and I would take the boat down the river. Q Was your car left at the dock during all these occasions when you walked to Moab? A I wouldn't say it was left all, but a number of times it was. Q Some of the time it was. When your car wasn't there, you walked eight or nine miles instead of three, and avoided the river stretch. Is that right? A I don't understand your question. Q Was there any other way you would go from the dock up to Moab except by car? A Ride in an automobile on the highway. Q That is what I am talking about. A Yes, that was the way. Q Were you operating the motor when you would take it over to this place and then walk from there on? A No, I was a passenger on the garage boat on those trips I speak of. Q How many times did you do that, Mr. Dugan? A I wouldn't attempt to say. A great many times, though. |
