Q With reference to those questions Mr. Blackmar last put to you, as to your presence on the river in 1927 and 1928, were you there for the same purposes in those years that you were in the previous years? A Yes, we were drilling the J. L. Shafer No. 1 A well at that time, during that period. Q And conditions were smiliar to those that you have already described, were they? A Yes.
