A In connection with business for the company for which I was working, as the company was interested in all of the wells except one that was drilled down the river, joint interest. Q Do you recall what month and years you made those subsequent trips? A After the trip in December, 1924, I was not on the river again until August of 1925, when I made one trip down the river the latter part of August. I couldn't give you the exact date. Q What means of transportation did you use then? A Went down with a row boat, with an outboard motor. Q The same boat? A I don't know whether it was the same boat; I made that trip with Virgil Baldwin, who was working for the Moab Garage; the boat belonged to the Moab Garage. Q How far down did you go on that trip? A Down to the Frank Shafer well, which was then drilling. Q Did you encounter any difficulties on that trip that you remember of? A We had a great deal of trouble on that trip. Q On what account? |
