Show 4973 Dugan- D 2986 Q Do you recall how long it took you to make the down trip? A We left at daylight; in that country I wouldn't say what hour, but approximately daylight, from the mouth of Mill creek, and made the trip down to Kane creek and got back that night. But it was dark before we got to the mouth of Mill creek, and we only spent about an hour at the location -- at the proposed location at Kane creek. Q Did you encounter any difficulties with the river either on the down or the up trip? A We had a great deal of trouble with slush ice; the river was flowing slush ice. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Is Kane creek and Kane Springs wash the same thing? BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Are Kane creek and Kan springs the same? BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Kane Springs wash, is that the same as Kane creek? A I wouldn't say. Q You said it was on the location of Frank Shafer well, and the place designated on the map as Kane Springs wash is twelve miles away from the FrankShafer well? A I spoke of what we term in the mapping as the Kane creek structure; that is not the exact location spoken of as Kane creek. |
