Show 4953 2966 AFTER RECESS ( The hearing was resumed at 2: 15 o'clock P. M.) WALTER F. EDWARDS was thereupon recalled to the witness stand, and having been heretofore duly sworn herein, testified further as follows: FURTHER DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q I show you exhibits 465 and 466 and ask you if you can identify those? A They are plats showing the work that we did on the river, including the land net that we ran covering the various permits on the two structures, and the triangulation that we ran down the river to determine the mean high water mark. One sheet is a continuation of the other. Q Now, the river as shown on these exhibits, does that indicate the water surface at the time the survey was begun, or what does it indicate? A It indicates what we judged to be the mean high water mark as shown by water lines on the banks of the river on either side. Q What did you take as the mean high water mark? How did you determine that? |
