Athletically, the Sigs represented the fraternity on the varsity football, baseball, golf, swimming, track, skiing, cross country, and frosh basketball teams while the rest of the brothers attempted to win back their traditional intramural trophy from the SAEs. Scholastically, with a campus sweep of nine straight first place quarters the Utah Sigs placed second out of 144 chapters throughout the nation. Sigma Chis didn't ignore girls: they elected the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi and Derby Darling.
