Show Ballif s food (ugh!?) and good-night kisses spice dorm life Eating and parting are two activities common to all five residence halls:, Ballif, Van Cott, Austin, Carlson, and International House. Students living in Austin, Van Cott, and Ballif eat together in the Ballif cafeteria, where they typically wait for breakfast, wait for lunch, and wait for dinner. After the waiting's over, they wonder if it was really worth it. International House and Carlson Hall each furnish their own food for their occupants. Food for thought is supplied each evening through the memorable scenes occurring in the breezeways of the various dorm buildings at lock-up time. Most couples seem unaware that they might see each other the next day; they are living proof that "parting is such sweet sorrow" although everyone seems to enjoy the bitter-sweetnessof the nightly ritual. 266 IHiS illlfllfli- liillHI ft f||ii Jlilfliliik mm Jtlstliftill r£vvl"v !¦¦¦ litfi 1 i L .;¦¦¦*"¦"¦ "1 r. -.••-.• [ |
