Show AWS sprinkles '68 with sugar and spice AWS highlighted the mammoth moving job involved in transferring the old Library's contents to the new Library and Learning Center. A stomp was held in the main floor of the George Thomas Library which was cleared of tables, typewriters, chairs and desks, and students came who had never been there before. Winter quarter presented an AWS Leap Year Dance held in February in the Panorama Room at which the idea of "Get a Mate in '68" resulted in the girls asking the fellows out and "Favorite Ute" Leon Dever being selected during intermission. Spring brought the annual event, Women's Week. Mortar Board and Cwean tapped members who were announced to the University's female populace and twittering femms fussed about white and ivory lace gowns at the spring bridal fashion show. •iiiliSi^KiB* itt ,^^^^^^8 mra ASSOCIATED WOMEN STUDENTS COUNCIL - Front: Katie Hoopes, Orientation & Elections Chairman; Mary Howell, Cultural Chairman.
