Show ORIENTATION stuffs freshmen full of goodies Exhausted and cramped from five minutes of stepping up and down to the drum record of the Harvard Step Test, male veterans of the freshman physical fitness tests began to believe that college really was much more challenging than high school. Only one of the varied activities planned for freshmen during a week both grueling and pleasurable, the Step Test ranks only with registration in sheer torture power. Coping with their first registration, fall rush, and a new orientation program which immersed them in University surroundings, freshmen tried to be decisive and businesslike, charming and appealing, eager to learn and participate at the college.
