Show Ill llif ilaSiliil LAW begins OEO clinical program BUSINESS expands study facilities Directed by Dean Samuel D. Thurman, the University of Utah Law School added several new faculty members from UCLA, University of Texas, and University of New Mexico. With facilities filled to capacity, the Law School began in 1968 a three year clinical program sponsored by the Office of Economic Opportunity. The law students assisted in representing indigent clients in civil cases. Next year the school hopes to add criminal defense training to the program. Now almost entirely in the hands of the students, the Moot Court program gives students an opportunity to practice principles of appellate court action. Expanded facilities of the new Mark H. Green Hall afforded students in the College of Business a greater variety of courses, equipment, and study areas. The new complex adds classrooms, offices, lecture halls, a library, and an auditorium, completing Phase Three of the College of Business building program. Provision for computers, research centers, and graduate study facilities augment the building's utility. These physical improvements enhance the stature of the College, under the direction of Dean Clyde N. Randall. Samuel D. Thurman/Dea/7 of the College of Law Clyde N.
