Show CHALLENGE pits man against himself, explores his values "Man Against Himself" primed students and faculty in participation in Challenge '68. A full five-day program emerged from the creative efforts of Challenge Steering Committee headed by John Kirkham and starring a cast of more than 33 students augmented by 26 prominent ASUU members, community VIPs and local communications media. Quoted from Robert Theobold, British Socio-Econo-mist, the challenge of "Man Against Himself" led to the showing of provocative films, a recital of contemporary poetry by Alan Ginsberg, and the expansion of several aspects of man against himself in such terms as human equality and building America. Visiting participants included Patric Healy, organizer and president of the Nation of League of Cities; Julian Bond of the Georgia House of Representatives; Rt. Rev. John P.
