Show CHAMBER ORCHESTRA creates drawing room elite A 30-member group trained especially to perform chamber music, the University Chamber Orchestra filled the year with a varied menu of programs, performances, and musical selections. The well-practiced ensemble sampled a wide range of the chamber repertoire, from the eighteenth century classicism of Hayden to the twentieth century contempor-ism of Benjamin Britten. Enjoying a wide range of performances, the Chamber Orchestra entertained students4at Wednesday Lunch 'n Listen programs as well as at the Sunday afternoon concert series. Because the group as a whole combined top muscians in each section, several programs featured individual musicians in woodwind and string ensembles. The entire orchestra performed under the batons of guest conductors as well as their conductor of the group, Dr. Louis W. Booth. Dr. Louis W.
