Show PROFESSIONALS run gamut from music to engineering Professional organizations at the University of Utah 1968 ran the gamut from business to engineering, music to journalism. They oriented budding bridge builders and highwaymen, novice electronic gadgeteers, amateur trombonists and violinists, future' office managers and financeers, tyro political columnists and city editors to the inside secrets of being a professional engineer, musician, businessman, or newspaperman. Parties, group tours of professional hangouts, and speakers selected from the ranks of those who had arrived as professionals, spiced the routine of regular meetings for the parapro-fessionals. Although many of the hopeful professionals expected Uncle Sam's 13-month tour of Viet Nam, a few made it to the big leagues of their various chosen professions.
