Show JUNIOR PROM sports Ray Bryant in psychedelic nightclub atmosphere Clad in black and white tuxes and sporting orchids in various hues and from various monetary levels, Utes arrived in limousines in pairs, quartets, or sextets for the Junior Prom. Advertised sporadically by purple and lavender striped posters and a giant photograph of Ray Bryant, the Prom, "A Touch of Blues," featured the Bryant Trio. Seated at round tables around the perimeter of the Union Ballroom, couples listened to the jazz pianist over tall candles and surrounded by flourescent signs from famous nightclubs such as the hungry i, while Queen Kathy McKean and Attendents Marilyn Homer and Dana Price were introduced during intermission. The Prom, with its two-set concert before the dance and precision performance during its course merely served to whet the insatiable jazz appetites of University Prom-goers.
