Show RAMBOUILLET MEETING Rambouillet breeders held their annual meeting in Salt Lake City on August 27th, with President John K. Madsen presiding. A dinner preceded the business session which was largely attended and active. Mr. Madsen was sustained as head of the organization with V.I. Pierce of Ozona, Texas, as vice president. W. S. Hansen of Collinston, Utah, was named as director for Utah, and L. D. White of Fort Stockton, Texas, as one of the directors for Texas. Mrs. Dwight Lincoln was employed again as secretary-treasurer for the year 1941. The American Rambouillet Sheep Breeders Association is being re-distributed on the basis of active members.15 The following year via action of the American Rambouillet Sheep Breeders Association meeting as San Angelo, Texas, on 29 July, 1942, the offices of the association were moved from Marysville, Ohio. The resignation of Mrs. Lincoln was accepted, and Bill Littleton of Ozona, Texas, was placed in that postiion. Victor I. Pierce was elected president, succeeding John K. Madsen who had served a two year term. W. S. Hansen was made vice president and newly named directors were B. T. Patterson, Mayfield, New York; Robert Miller, Davis, California; W. C. Olsen, Mt. Pleasant, Utah, and Minor McVay of Eden, Texas. ' Tribute was paid to the late Colonel Dwight Lincoln, the first auctioneer at the National Ram Sale in Salt Lake, and secretary of the organization, up to the time of his 226 |
