Show chant was adopted that went something like this: "I'm sure glad we're through with lambing."-"Aren"t you glad to finish shearing?" - "I'm glad to get onto the spring range again."- "I'm so glad to be on the summer range."-"Am I glad to be settled on the winter range!"-"I»m sure glad to be starting with lambing again, aren't you?" Generally speaking, the men who worked for the Madsen purebred farm got along well together and were happy. Seasonal work connected with the sheep and farm was diversified and such that they could shift from one phase of the work to another and enjoy what they were doing, without monotony.
