Show l89. Committee University of Utah Appointed by the Faculty to assist the Board in selecta new president. April 16, 1921. Prof. Elbert D. Thomas, Secretary of the Board of Regents, University of Utah. Dear Prof. Thomas: At a special meeting of the Faculty on April 14, 1921, called for the purpose of considering your communication of April 12, 1921, concerning the appointment of a committee to assist the Board in its selection of President, the following committee was named:Professors E. E. Ericksen, R. H. Bradford, and George S. Snoddy. They were instructed to assist the Board of 'Regents in every possible way in their deliberations and were made the bearers of the result of a preferential vote of the Faculty. Faculty Committee Invited In Moved by Regent Alexander that the Committee of the I Faculty be informed that the Board is in session and ready to receive any report they have to make. Passed. The Faculty Committee, consisting of Doctors Ericksen, Bradford, and Snoddy, then met with the Board and the Board went into executive session. Moved by Regent Love that when the Board adjourns, it adjourn at 5:50 to meet again at 8:00 p. m. Passed. At 8:00 P. M. all members of the Board as above listed and in addition Regent Ray, met conjointly with the Faculty Committee in executive session. Moved by Regent Bamberger that the Board adjourn to meet Friday, April 22nd at 8:00 p. m. Adjourned. Passed. m Secretary. |
