Show OCTOBER 15 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REGENTS, ULTY ROOM 1919, at 9:50 A. M. HELD IN THE FAC OF UTAH. JOHN R. PARK BUILDING, UNIVERSITY Cott, Young, Bamberger, Present: Chairman Riter, Regents Van Bennion, Stewart, and President Widtsoe. Goal Bids The following Coal Bids were Opened: . - Standard Fuel 00., for screened mine slack, Martin Coal 00., " " " " % E5.00 per ton. " ‘ $5-1O " to the Regent Van Cott moved that the bid be given Standard Fuel Co. Passed. The following recommendation was presented to the Board l by Regent Van Cott as Chairman of the Faculty Relations V Committee: REPORT OF REGENTS COMMITTEE ON FACULTY RELATIONS. I Heretofore there was referred to the above Committee the question of a schedule for faculty salaries. Our Committee met in the Faculty Committee October 6, 1919, at 2 p. m. in the John R. Park Building to consider a schedule Of faculty salaries. After discussion it was unanimously decided by both committees as follows: Salary Increases. - (1) To recommend to this Board an increase in the ,Salaries of the instructors, assistant professors, associate professors and professors (about 169 in number) for the present school year of ElOO. 00 per capita, an aggregate of E16, 900.00. President Widtsoe reported that there are sufficient available funds for the payment of this increase.
