Fifth South there is a street that runs right through to the Reservation, and across the Reservation, and it is the only street that enters the Reservation except two on the north side. Fourth South has no connection with the reservation. We, therefore, most respectfully request that the University Street be extended from Fourth South to Fifth South, a distance of some forty rods. We believe if the street is extended at this time, the City would give us some aid in grading and gravelling it. While the City ill not_buy land for Streets as a rule, they will improve he streets that are laid out by private individuals, here they connect with the main streets of the city.
