Show 158 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF REGENTS, DECEMBER 10, 1920; 2 P.M. Q5 Held in the Regents' Room of the University of Utah. Present: 4 «1 Chairman Riter; Regents Van Cott, Lund, Bennion, Bamberger, Gemmell, Stewart, Harkness, Ray and President Widtsoe. ‘ President Widtsoe announced the following resignations: Resignations: Dr. George Thomas, Professor of Economics; Geo.Thomas, D'A- Boyer, . D. Angus Boyer, Assistant Professor of Public Speaking; J.Walkley, James Walkley, Nightwatchman. The President explained that, while Dr.‘Thomas had offered his resignation without condition, he had, nevertheless, expressed to him the wish to remain identified with the University on leave of absence status. On account of his election to the State Superintendency of Schools, it was moved by Regent Van Cott that the University do not employ Dr. Thomas after January 1, 1921. Passed. It was moved by Regent Ray that Dr. Thomas's resignation be accepted. Passed. Moved by Regent Bennion that Mr. Walkley's resignation be taccepted. Passed. Moved by Regent Ray that Prof. Boyer's resignation be accepted at the end of the Autumn quarter. R.S.Lewis Leave of Absence. Passed. President Widtsoe recommended that Prof. R. S.
