Show 5. That the University of Utah assign to the Pope Shanon Mining Company the patent for use anywhere in the United States except Utah. That in turn the Pope Shenonv Mining Company return to the University of Utah one-half of the net royalties collected as a result of the use of said patent. 4. That all foreign rights to the patent revert to Dr. Bradford who is at liberty to make any assignments whatsoever to any company or individual concern for the administration of these rights in foreign countries. I am inclosing herewith papers ready for signature showing the assignment of this patent by Dr. Bradford to the University of Utah, and an agreement between Dr. Bradford, the University of Utah and the Pope Shenon Mining Company which are self-explanatory and which will have to be executed by proper authorities of the University of Utah in order to give proper title to the owners of the patent in question. ‘ Will you, therefore, be kind enough to give this matter your attention and bring the same to the attention of the Board of Regents or other proper authorities and let me know at your earliest what disposition is to be made of the case? AGREEMENT WHEREAS, on or about the 15th day of May 1920, letters patent were issued by the patent office of the United States to Robert H. Bradford, of Salt Lake 03y, for a certain process, formula and invention sometimes known as, "Bradford-Process for the Volatilization of Ores" which patent is represented and known as_patent No. 265052. NOW, THEREFORE, to all whom it may concern, BE IT KNOWN that for and consideration of the sum of One Dollar to me in hand paid, and other good and valuable considerations received from University of Utah, a munici pal corporation, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I, the said Robert H. Bradford, have sold, assigned and transferred, and do by these presents sell, assign and transfer, unto the said University of Utah, all of my rights, title and interest in and to said process, formula and invention and in and to said letters patent, including all of the rights and privileges connected with or growing out of said patent or patent rights, reserving to me, however, all rights to apply for, procure and own exclusively |
