That I reside at 1424 North Sahuara Avenue, Tuscon,A. >H^ Arizona. I am employed as the Southwestern Regional Representative of the Sierra Club and have been so employed since January, 1970. My staff responsibilities within the Club include analyzing and making recommendations on water resources planning policies and programs. This has included co-authoring the Club's detailed comments on the now adopted "Principles and Standards for Planning Water and Related Land Resources" and the preparation and submission of testimony to the National Water Commission. I have been a member from its inception of the advisory committee to the Bureau of Reclamation's Western United States Water Plan. Other staff activities for the Club include recommendations concerning Sierra Club policy in relation to specific projects and programs including the Central Arizona Project and the Colorado River Water Quality Improvement Program. 2. I have reviewed the Bonneville Unit EIS prepared by defendants in this matter. 3. The planning and evolution of major water projects takes many years.
