Show 4753 Yundt- D 2767 BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Was he mining for gold? A He had a gold mine, that is, a prospect. MR. BLACKMAR: Probably more accurate, I guess, to call it a prospect. MR. FARNSWORTH: I don't know about that. Probably Wolverton would know more about that than some one who has not seen it. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q During the time you were in and around Baker's ranch how was your party supplies A We received supplies, I think, from Notom. One of those small towns; part of the supplies we brought in from Hanksville by wagon. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q How did you get down to the mouth Hall's creek? A I wasn't at the mouth of Hall's creek itself; the survey stopped there. Q I mean in that region, how did you get there? A We came in from Notom and down to, I think it is called Pleasant valley, up north there on Freemont creek. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Do you know where Notom is? BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Can you locate Notom on this map here? A Notom is, I think, on this creek here ( indicating). |
